Telephone Support
- This service consists of telephone support to our customers when problems arise at their
site or when they need help optimizing setpoints of their control system. This service is
included in the price of the Service Information Letter program.

Modem Plant Monitoring
- This service consists of a Hench technician calling up the customer's control system though
the modem twice a month and looking for unusual or incorrect control parameters and making
recommendations for improvements or adjustments.

Service Information Letter
- This service consists of information letters sent to customers in the warranty period
and post-warranty customers who subscribe to the service. The letters are triggered by
problems observed and solved at one of our sites; or by a new feature introduced to our
product line. The letters are typically issued six to eight times per year.

Annual Plant Service Calls
- This service consists of annual plant service call by a Hench expert to review the
control system to look for potential problems. to help the operators optimize their
control system settings and to provide on-site training.
Annual Operator Training Course
- This service consists of an annual two day course taught by Hench Control staff.
The class is held twice a year; in the spring at our
facility in San Jose and in the fall at our facility in Guelph (Toronto). The course covers the subjects of Windows features and use; control
optimization and troubleshooting control system failures. A complete control system is set
up in the classroom for the course for use by the students. The troubleshooting portion of
the control course consists of Hench staff introducing a failure into the control system,
and using these examples to guide the class members through a "hands on" lesson
into efficiently determining the cause of failures.
